Matchday Manager Switzerland is an unofficial fantasy manager for the Swiss Super League. Build your squad within the budget, name your captain, plan your transfers and score points every Round – live, based on the real performances of the players.

How it works

Fantasy football works like this: you build your own squad out of real players from the Swiss Super League, and you score points for what those players actually do on the pitch at the weekend. A goal, an assist, a clean sheet — it all lands in your total. No prior knowledge required. An opinion on who is going to score this Round, on the other hand, definitely helps.

  1. Build your squad. 15 players, a fixed starting budget, a maximum of three from any one club. Whatever you don't spend stays in the bank for later transfers.
  2. Pick your lineup and your captain. Eleven start, four sit on the bench. Your captain scores double — the biggest call of every Round. If he doesn't play a minute, the vice-captain takes over.
  3. Score, Round after Round. The deadline falls one hour before the first kick-off. After that your team is out there — and you watch your points tick up while the matches run.

A Round, from the deadline to the final whistle

Every Round follows the same rhythm. Up to the deadline it's all yours: change the lineup, change the captain, make transfers. Once the deadline has gone, that Round's team is frozen — anything you change afterwards applies to the next Round instead.

While the matches are on, your points tick up live. If a starter ends up not playing at all, someone comes on automatically from the bench. Bonus points and auto-subs stay provisional for as long as the Round is running. Prices, your next free transfer and any Boost you played are settled when the Round formally closes — once the next deadline has passed.

Best of all against your own mates

A private league takes a minute to set up. You get a short invite code, you drop it into the group chat, and from then on you compare yourselves Round after Round in the same table — with exactly the points you are scoring anyway. On top of that, a table for the club you picked as yours at the start runs automatically.

Transfers, prices and Boosts

Every Round gives you one free transfer; unused ones are banked. Want to move more than that and each extra transfer costs −4 points — the sum you sit and weigh up the night before. On top come four Boosts: Wildcard, Triple Captain, Bench Boost and Free Hit, with only one allowed to run in any given Round.

And players carry a price that moves: score more than your price suggests and you rise, disappoint and you fall. A bargain bought early pays for the transfer you really want later on.

The full scoring table and every rule are on the rules page; short answers to the most common questions are in the FAQ.
